The Beauty Scenario Tag

My YouTube journey.

As many, or nearly no one, of you know, I've been doing YouTube videos for quite some time now. I don't have a million subscribers, I nearly have 500. I do enjoy it, though. I have had a few non-supportive friends in the past who knew/know about it. I'm gladly no longer friends with those people. I'm sure they still say negative things. I just didn't need to be around people who weren't supportive of what made me happy. I have a few friends now that just think I'm crazy, but they accept it and know that making videos makes me happy.  If something does make you happy and people make you feel bad about, and those people are your "friends", you don't need them in your life; Fun fact of the day.  YouTube has been a challenge, in a good way. It challenges me creatively. I do mostly beauty and fashion related videos. I'm, obviously, not a "beauty guru" or a stylist, but I do have specific tastes in fashion & I do follow trends, but where I'm from people don't accept creativity very nicely. Uniqueness is rare to come by and even harder to accept.

As for my YouTube success, it hasn't been anything spectacular, I have 498 subscribers. Which isn't anything compared to YouTubers who have a milli or 5 million. It is success to me, though. It's nearly 500 people who wait to see what I'll post next. Also, that is more people than I had in my high school. Yeah. Small school. Successful YouTube channel. kind of. To me, anyway. Anyway, long story short, I'm passionate about it and it makes me extraordinarily happy.
